Training on molecular diagnosis of crimean congo hemorrhagic fever virus

The team of Animal Health research institute(INIA-CSIC) in Madrid, Spain has welcomed Dr Adama Diakité, MediLabSecure focal point for the Central Veterinary Laboratory in Bamako (Mali) from 15 to 18thNovember 2022.

The main goal of this training program was to provide practicalinformation on the molecular diagnosis of Crimean Congo Haemorrhagicfever virus in different samples from livestock and ticks. 

Additional presentations on biosecurity andBSL-3 laboratories and on diagnosis of West Nile and Usutu viruses usingmultiplex real time PCR were provided.
