Mobile Laboratory Workshop With The Institut De Dakar

Supported by MediLabSecure and jointly organized with the Institut Pasteur de Dakar, a workshop on "Mobile Laboratory and field diagnostics" was held from June 13th to 17th in Dakar. Experts from Institut Pasteur de Dakar shared with the human virologist working group their knowledge and experience regarding the different mobile labs and techniques used in the field.

During this workshop, the participants were able to practice in the mobile laboratory and use the dedicated suitcases. The workshop focused on diagnostics and sequencing of the Dengue, Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever and the West Nile viruses. Overall, this workshop was intended to be a practical and operational training for scientist, medical and/or field biologist.
