Mobile Laboratory & Field Diagnostics Workshop 2nd Edition

MediLabSecure Human Virology expertise leaders, in collaboration with the Institut Pasteur de Dakar, organized the second edition of the "Mobile Laboratory and Field Diagnostics" workshop in Dakar, Senegal, from May 27th to 31st, 2024.

During the workshop, experts from the Institut Pasteur de Dakar shared their extensive knowledge and practical experience in utilizing mobile laboratories and field techniques. The focus was on enhancing field surveillance and identifying arboviruses, catering specifically to virologists and entomologists. Special attention was given to the diagnostics and sequencing methods for dengue (DEN), Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF), and Rift Valley fever (RVF) viruses.

Designed as a hands-on training opportunity, the workshop aimed to equip scientists, medical and/or field biologists with practical skills and operational insights.
