MediLabSecure Global Meeting: Commemorating 10 Years of Dedicated Efforts & Achievements
The upcoming MediLabSecure Global Meeting is set to take place in person in Paris, France, from June 11th to 13th, 2024. This significant event is an opportunity to commemorate the network and 10 years of dedicated efforts and achievements in vector-borne diseases preparedness.
Bringing together institutional stakeholders and quadripartite partners, the meeting aims to facilitate discussions on project successes and future strategies in vector-borne diseases preparedness under the "One Health" initiative. With a carefully crafted agenda designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange, participants can anticipate engaging discussions and the opportunity to forge fruitful collaborations.
Event highlight
Day 1 – June 11th, 2024 at Institut Pasteur:
The 10th anniversary of the MediLabSecure project is a milestone to celebrate but also an opportunity to spotlight impactful multisectoral projects contributing to global health enhancement. This first day will focus on “Regional and Multisectoral Cooperation in Action: Tackling Emerging Infectious Diseases Impacted by Climate Change in the Mediterranean Region”.
Days 2-3 – June 12th & 13th, 2024 at the Domaine de Frémigny:
The meeting will be followed by a 2-day retreat at the Domaine de Frémigny (located close to Paris), focusing on a comprehensive exploration of the project advancements, lessons learned and more on the One Health approach to prevent vector-borne diseases. During this time, members of the network will have the opportunity to engage in keynote talks, group expertise sessions, interactive discussions, and a simulation exercise.
