Follow-up Meeting: EQA on Viral Detection using Metagenomics Tools

Following the External Quality Assessment (EQA) "Viral Detection Using Metagenomics Data Analysis Tools," conducted by MediLabSecure Animal Virology and Human Virology expertise leaders from March 14th to April 3rd, a follow-up meeting is now scheduled for April 24th. This meeting aims at delving into the outcomes and challenges encountered during the EQA, as well as exploring avenues for improvement.

Originally tailored for participants of the 2023 Metagenomics workshops in Paris, this EQA was extended to any MediLabSecure laboratory equipped with adequate metagenomics expertise. Participants were provided with 4 FASTAQ files containing blind samples and were tasked with identifying viruses using bioinformatics tools.
